A math teacher welcomed a new French exchange student to her class, then started teaching a lesson on fractions. The French exchange student raised his hand and said, \u201cExcuse me, Madam, but I don\u2019t know how to say fractions. How do you say those?\u201d\u201cIt\u2019s very simple,\u201d said the teacher, \u201cjust say the top number and then the bottom number is read as an ordinal number.
