From then on, I visited the shop every week after school. I would choose flowers I thought my mother might like\u2014lilies, tulips, or daisies. The woman never asked for money. Sometimes she even added an extra flower and smiled, saying my mother had good taste. Her kindness gave me comfort during the hardest years of my childhood.<\/p>\n
