She was hurt, but I believed I was being practical.<\/p>\n

Recently, she and her husband adopted a beautiful little girl. My daughter came to me smiling, hopeful, and asked if that meant she would now be included again in the inheritance. I told her no. I explained that while I respected her choice, adoption did not change what I meant by \u201cfamily bloodline.\u201d<\/p>\n
