A young priest had just arrived at a new church in Chicago.
\nWanting to make a good impression, he decided to visit the nearby convent and introduce himself to the nuns.<\/p>\n

The Mother Superior welcomed him warmly and invited him to dinner.<\/p>\n

During the meal, one young nun kept smiling at him every time he looked up.
\nThe priest tried hard not to notice\u2026 but he definitely noticed.<\/p>\n

After dinner, the Mother Superior asked:<\/p>\n

\u201cFather, would you mind helping Sister Margaret carry the desserts downstairs to the pantry?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course.\u201d<\/p>\n

So the priest and the nun headed down into the dark basement together.<\/p>\n

As she bent over to place a pie on the shelf, the priest accidentally dropped his spoon.<\/p>\n

CLANG.<\/p>\n

The nun jumped.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh my goodness, Father, you scared me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The priest laughed nervously.
\n\u201cSorry, Sister. I seem to lose control around sweets.\u201d<\/p>\n

The nun smirked.
\n\u201cSo I noticed.\u201d<\/p>\n

For a second, the room went silent.<\/p>\n

Then suddenly the lights went out.<\/p>\n

Pitch black.<\/p>\n

The nun gasped.
\n\u201cFather?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes?!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t see anything!\u201d<\/p>\n

Neither can I!\u201d<\/p>\n

A long awkward silence followed.<\/p>\n

Then the nun whispered:<\/p>\n

\u201cFather\u2026 what should we do?\u201d<\/p>\n

The priest cleared his throat.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell\u2026 in situations like this\u2026 I usually just feel around until I find the right opening.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another long silence.<\/p>\n

Then the nun burst out laughing and said:<\/p>\n
