Father Murphy sighed. \u201cTemptation is everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few minutes later, Sister Angela spotted Father Murphy sneaking behind the lemonade stand with Sister Margaret.<\/p>\n

The priest straightened his collar and said nervously, \u201cNow Sister\u2026 before you jump to conclusions\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Sister Angela smirked.
\n\u201cOh relax, Father. I already know about the \u00e9clairs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Father Murphy wiped sweat from his forehead.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut what I don\u2019t understand\u2026 is why it takes two adults and forty-five minutes to bless a thermos of whipped cream.\u201d<\/p>\n

Confession After Midnight<\/p>\n

At a small Catholic church in Chicago, Father Donnelly was famous for giving very long late-night counseling sessions.<\/p>\n

One evening, Sister Catherine came rushing into the chapel looking flustered.<\/p>\n

\u201cFather, I need forgiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened, Sister?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell\u2026 during tonight\u2019s storm, I accidentally ended up in your room.\u201d<\/p>\n

Father Donnelly nodded slowly.
\n\u201cYes\u2026 very unfortunate weather.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then the lightning scared me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes\u2026 terrifying lightning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then I slipped on the rug.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes\u2026 dangerous rug.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd somehow,\u201d she continued, blushing, \u201cI landed directly in your arms.\u201d<\/p>\n

The priest smiled gently.
\n\u201cThe Lord works in mysterious ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just then, the old janitor walked by and muttered:<\/p>\n
