I thought it was just a normal first date\u2014nothing fancy, just good conversation and a quiet dinner. But halfway through the meal, something felt off. My stomach started acting up, so I excused myself and went to the bathroom, thinking it was just bad timing or something I ate earlier.<\/p>\n

When I came out, the waiter stopped me and quietly pulled me aside. His face was serious. He told me he had seen my date put something into my food while I was gone. My heart dropped. I wasn\u2019t sure what to think, but I knew I had to stay calm.<\/p>\n

I went back to the table, sat down, and casually offered her a bite of my meal. She immediately refused. That was all the confirmation I needed.<\/p>\n

I looked her straight in the eye and told her what the waiter had said. After a moment, she admitted it. She said she had added some kind of \u201cmagic healing powder\u201d\u2014basically spirulina\u2014because she believed my \u201cenergy was off.\u201d<\/p>\n
