She had lost her bag \u2014 no wallet, no phone, nothing. She looked genuinely distressed, and I couldn\u2019t just walk away. Instead of giving cash, I bought her a ticket.<\/p>\n<p>I didn\u2019t think much of it afterward.<\/p>\n<p>Months later, I ended up in the hospital. Lying in bed one day, a doctor walked in with a group of students. Among them was a familiar face \u2014 but I couldn\u2019t place it at first.<\/p>\n<p>Then she stepped forward.<\/p>\n<p>It was her.<\/p>\n<p>She smiled and said her family had been worried because she never got my contact to thank me. They had searched for me, and now, by pure coincidence, we met again.
